Stretchers

We are now able to send all of our paintings with our easy self-assembly, flat-pack stretchers for mounting. This guarantees that they are safe during transportation and because they are so compact there are no additional postal charges.

HOW TO MOUNT YOUR PAINTING

When you un-wrap your painting you will find the 2 longest sides of the batik already connected to the stretcher, and the 2 shorter stretcher bars seperate. (see photo 2)
Simply slot the 2 stretcher bars into place, as seen in picture 3.

Now, continue this process along the sides, working towards the corners (see photo 6).
Once this is done, the painting is ready to stretch.
Starting in the center of one of the two unconnected sides of the painting, gently wrap the batik around the stretcher (see photo 5), and secure with a staple.

Having completed the sides, all that’s left are the four corners.
Following the directions in photo 8, take flap A and fold as directed.
Holding flap A in position, repeat with flap B. This will give you a nice neat finish.

Now, secure with a staple and repeat for all 4 corners.
Your painting is now ready. Just hang, and enjoy.
