The next application is a yellow dye that will create shades of green from the existing blues.
Now boiling out the wax will reveal the underlying colours, ready for resealing and dying where required.
After a further waxing, a red dye creates a new range of colours.
The final waxing and dyeing will complete the process.
All that remains is to boil the batik to reveal the finished work of art.

At this stage he applies another, softer, wax that allows his final darker blue dye to penetrate the cracked areas.
Here, F.Agus has dyed the cloth in his lightest blue and has sealed in where he requires the colour to stay.
